Started reading and loved the story of you having your dd, Carly, ears pierced when she was ready to have it done. Like you, I was waiting for our dd to ask. I wanted to have them done early, but hesitated for no good reason.

One day our 2.5 yr wanted them done after seeing "mommies pretties" and came to me saying she wanted her "ears perced." She was persistent an took one of my earrings and tried to put it in her ear. Dh said to take her and have them done.

She did great and when we came home Daryl was so excited to see Sandi's ears, he asked me why I didn't get Missy's done. (Why didn't I think of that at the time?) So we all went the next day to get Missy (age 15 months) ears pierced. I don't know if you're thinking about having your younger dd's ears pierced too, but it was no trouble taking care of both girls. Did I say both girls would look adorable with earrings?

Before I took Sandi, I asked our ped about doing our almost 3 yr old. She encouraged me to go ahead if I was caring for them. In fact, she gave me some suggestions for moms having their babies/toddlers ears pierced. They worked great and I used them for both girls.

Write me an e-mail if you're interested and I will mail them to you.

Amy
amyswor@hotmail.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
