Dr. Clint

It's been a very busy week so I've been unable to post...Clint's parents came in town last wed to stay with us for graduation. We had Clint's graduation banquet Thursday night, a rodeo Friday night, graduation Sat morning @ 10 am, a Cowboys vs. Broncos game (yes we won) that same night...Sunday was dinner with my fam and then of course shopping and eating out in between it all... sushi & fondue...our favorite! What else do you do in Texas besides try out our awesome restaurants? So we had to take Dave and Donna! I have to say that I am so proud of Clint, it was a long haul but he did it, we did it! It feels good! Although Carly cried, or screamed with terror, to see her daddy in his cap and gown I am sure she is proud too ;) (She was freaked out!) We can't believe it is now over, Parker for us is OVER! We have 1 month left in Texas...we aren't sure if we will be able to take a little vacation like we wanted, most likely its time to just get ready to move and take it easy (if you can do both of those at the same time!)

Clint's Graduation Announcement

Finally!!! Clint is graduating from Parker School of Chiropractic on Saturday morning August 18th! Go Clint!

We made our own announcements (since the schools were SO expensive) and I took Clints pic...I think it turned out ok :) YAY! I can't believe that soon we will be packing up and moving on to a new life...we are excited, penniless, and ready....but again very excited!

5K

Abby and I ran our first 5K with RunOn Texas in Dallas this morning! It was awesome and we both came in under 30 minutes...I think we forgot our real time :) it's cool though...We loved it, so there will be at least one more before we move! I will be sad that I will be leaving my perfect running partner soon. We ran the same pace the whole time and helped eachother out tons. Clint, Dallas, and Carly were there to cheer us on, Clint thinks I should do a 15 K next...haha very funny!

Carly's Photo Shoot!

So I had fun with Carly as my little baby model today and took a bunch of pics...she got really sick of me, Im sure you can tell by the look on her face! Anyways, I am loving my new rebel camera and I am really trying to get into this photography thing!

Happy 27th Bday Clint!

We had a bunch of friends over yesterday for Clint's and Mark Jensons Bday which were both on the 7th. On his Bday we went to Texas de Brazil....SO good...but expensive..but SO good.

Yeah I have no idea what happened to Carly...I claim no responsibility to the whipped cream all over her face, and head...all I know is she was having fun!

4th of July!!

This 4th was great...

The weather was so nice to let up on its rain for a little bit so we could bbq at the pool with some friends and we got some good tans going now ;)..later we went to the Vista Ridge mall parking lot with friends to watch fire works...

What a mess girl!!!

All in one day...learned to open the masacra bottle and eat whats inside...then empty my purse and wallet...She was SO mad when I took that mascara away...it must have tasted really good!

Family pics

We just got some family pics done by Amy and I just love them....Carly wasn't feeling very well, it kinda shows but I still think she looked adorable! I made her this pink and brown tutu dont know if she cares, but I loved it. Carly is 9 months now and stands up everywhere, and is getting her first tooth finally! So I was glad to get some pics in!

We went to Chuck E Cheese's a little bit ago (Carly's first time!) to help the Brimhall's celebrate Jax's 2nd birthday...didnt know it could be so fun, Carly had a blast in a simple fake car! (pics by Amy...of course)

We also bought a few tickets to see the Rangers this summer withDallas and Abby...gotta get our Texas in before we leave!

Oregon Trip

So Oregon was BEAUUUTIFUL...everything was great! We checked out the area and Clint met up with an NET chiro in Portland that Clint will now be working for. It's nice to have a job lined up and know what we are doing after graduation. We are excited and we know that Oregon is the right place for us. I can't believe it is real that we are graduating and moving at the end of the summer! It will be really hard to leave since Texas has been home for me, it will be a real adjustment. Call me weird but I like the city and traffic with store/mall at my disposal. It will be different in Oregon but I will love it soon I am sure. Anyways, our trip was fun, didn't take a lot of pics but we saw Clint parents, went to the "rose festival" dowtown, saw fireworks and checked out the suburbs of Portland. We stayed in Sherwood one night with some friends and loved that place, so it is a possiblility! Clint will go back in July to take Oregon state boards, I may go with him to figure out where we will be living....

Oh Carly in the tub...that was a makshift bed at our hotel to put her to bed earlier so we could enjoy a few hours playing games with Clint's parents before going to bed ourselves, Carly jumped in with us later I promise! There's no way she was staying in there all night! I hated the few hours she was in there but she seemed to love it!

8 months

Here are a couple of pics I took since I am trying to learn photography skills from some friends. My friend Amy has been helping me out a lot and helped me with these and I think that they turned out great!! I have a lot of practice to do but I am enjoying it! I liked these pics cause they capture Carly doing what she loves...sticking out her tongue! I can't believe she is 8 months now, she is pulling up on everything that she can, and it's scary 'cause she only can get back down one way, falling!

Milestones!

Carly is 8 months old today! Just in the last week she grew up and I feel so proud! She is crawling across the room as of 2 days ago. At first it was just a few steps but now its full on crawling and I need to rearange everything! No more clean apt! She is also pointing and saying "mamama, dadadada, babababa" though I dont know if they are attached to the right object. If only I knew! She is doing great. I always wondered if she would do some funky crawl or not but it is normal.
