Carly 6 months on my B-day!

Carly is 6 months old already, this last weekend was my birthday and her 6 months so I celebrated with her...She tore into the cake on her own, then I decided to just let her go at it..Why not?Clint made an awesome cake for me and amazed us all! I cant wait until Carly is 1 and I can make her own cake for her to destroy...its more for my enjoyment then anything I guess! It was fun....I had to take my own 6 months pictures to add to my collection of pictures I already take of course....I was going to peirce her ears this month but I cant do it! I cant bring myself to do it for some reason, so I am deciding to let her make that decision for herself someday. Even if that is at 2 years old...haha...

Clint had boards again on my Birthday this year....of course....boards the day Carly was born and then again on my birthday...oh well he was great and made it a great day. Im 26 and very old now....It was fun anyways. I got to spend time with him and the family, and my little brother and sister made me a cake! We also had a few friends came over a little late that Sunday. Clint and I went out to eat with friends Dallas and Abby on Monday night at Simply Fondue...it was soooooo good and greasy! I also got my coveted Coach Carly purse! So I am happy...

Our 2nd Anniversary @ Seaworld!

We've been married 2 years now!! Its gone by fast! For our anniversary Clint surprised me with a trip to San Antonio since we have never been. We went to sea world, did the riverwalk, and saw the Alamo. Carly was there for the whole thing of course since we were gone for 2 and 1/2 days. I cant leave her yet! It was a great weekend get away and we want to visit San Antonio again before we leave, there was so much to do that we have to go back! Carly was teething the whole time and cried a lot and had a tempurature.....we still had a good time...

more @ Seaworld

Here are more pics from Seaworld. We saw Jacki Hanna (I think thats how you spell it) who was doing a show there that day, that was pretty cool....Carly did a lot of sleeping at Seaworld so it was rare to catch her up and awake...

Buds

Amy's daughter Chalet loves to hang out with Carly and does a great job holding her and taking care of her. Good thing since Amy's working on her 3rd! I thought these pics of them two were so cute, just chillin on the couch, they were being so good. Then I also caught daddy and her passed out sleeping after he got home from the clinic... So cute

5 months

Carly is 5 months old (as of a week ago) and she is doing so much. She is sitting great and starting on solids. We got her a high chair and she loves it, or the attention that she gets in it, one of the two....oh well...she's our new mess maker! I don't think she meant to use that finger while I was feeding her....

Clint wanted to show off his "big fish" and well maybe this does show that she is!

I really want to get her ears peirced but can't seem do it yet, every time I think I have the guts she keeps looking at me like "I trust you mommy, you wont hurt me." So I think I will wait until 6 months...but no later....by the way I really dont know what is up with the tongue!

Vday

Hey someone else did it to her I promise (Tricia)....but she was cute! We had a blast for Vday! I cooked for Clint, and Carly spent the evening with us as we went to the Stars Hockey game too...

Sitting and Moving

We are moved into our bigger apartment and still are painting, we should be finished today. We love the apartment and we live in the same complex and our friends Dallas and Abby and now stay up late playing Settlers of Catan a little too often, its way too easy!

It's great having Tricia around, we love her living with us! She is a great babysitter too! BIG NEWS......Carly is now sitting up! She is doing a great job, she is still falling over but can stay sitting up for a while before she does. She is growing like crazy. She is holding toys and throwing them, likes to jabber and coo all day, and be a part of the action. She is starting to eat some fruit and still completely sleep deprives herself because she feels she is missing out, we need to work on napping. She is a joy to have, and I smile everyday! Here's a pic also of her just waking up and mom surprising the poor thing with the camera, I thought it was pretty funny!

Dans Wedding

Dan and Carrie were married Dec 23 in the Timpanogas Temple. They were so cute and funny, we had to ask them to kiss eachother that day, they were kinda shy...we love them. I am happy that we were able to see the whole family, we hardly get chances to see eachother so it was nice to get some good pics, like this 4 generation pic with my mom and grandma!

Catching up!

So its been forever but there is so much that has happened. Christmas and wedding, school starting for Clint and me, and moving has kept me from being updated. We just moved a week and a half ago to a new bigger (slightly) apartment, so we have room for Carly and my sister Tricia who is staying with us until summer when she leaves to BYU-Idaho. I was only going to put in a couple of pictures from Christmas but there were so many pics that I loved. My brother Daniel married Carrie a few days before Christmas in Utah, where we spent our Christmas, making her Carrie Ann Foster. Which is funny because his twin is Khara Ann, guess its meant to be. They are the cutest couple and we are so excited to have her as part of the family now. We stayed in Utah with my sister Khara and husband Russ and daughter Mackenzie in Orem; Carly loved seeing her only cousin on my side of the family, Mackenzie, they were so cute together...

SANTA

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Wish I had the pics with me that we just did as a family that our friend Destiny did. They were awesome, just might have to post those later! But here are some we recently took of Carly with Santa and one of Carly after she fell asleep in two seconds while our friend Nicole held her at a little Christmas get together we had....

Thanksgiving & getting ready for Christmas!

Thanksgiving was a blast with 5 other couples/families who joined my mom, sister, and brother and Clint and I at my parents house to celebrate! A lot of our friends didnt have other relatives around so they came and ate and hung out with us, watched football, played games, chilled, and ate some more! Dallas, Abby, Mark, Lorena, Zeek, Amy (and kids), Jason, Tori, Erin, and Jennica all came! We are so blessed to have such great friends!
Here are some pics of Carly helping put up the tree (with help of daddy) and then she some how found hours of fascination laying under the tree and staring at lights and the big red christmas ornament right in front of her face, and she kept going cross-eyed.
We will be in Utah for Christmas, but its depressing not to put up a tree! We are excited to go to Utah for weddings and Christmas for two weeks...YEAH!

Hot Air Balloon!!!!

Yesterday I took Clint on a hot air balloon ride!!! It was awesome! It was a totally new experince since we both have never gone before. We took off in Allen at 7 AM Saterday with 4 other balloons, it was a little cold but being in a hot air balloon was relaxing.... It was kind of windy and we had a little bit of a crash landing, we were dragged by the balloon for a while, and I ended up at the bottom of the basket (and took home some bruises). The basket was real small and we were cuddling with two other passengers and the driver, Sandy. Here are somes pics of the takeoff, us in the basket, the view, and after we landed!
