amy & zeke brimhall our best friends from chiropractic school in TX came out from NM for 4 days, leaving 2 kids behind but brought cute baby scout! we toured them around portland showing them the sites: multnoma falls, downtown portland/clint's clinic, ate sushi (amy's first), ate sunday lunch by the columbia river, saw the most gorgeous portland temple, and of course amy & i had to hit up some shopping! poor carly was teething and had a fever the while time, & so i guess we cant blaim her for being miss grumpy! she kinda scared me to tell the truth! by the way, amy is my fun photo friend so we tried to take a cool good pics, i think i got some awespme ones of her! look on my photo blog for more! she is gorgeous! we miss you guys, thanks for coming! http://steppingintophotography.blogspot.com/ Also, check out amy's photography @ http://www.dramaticimaging.blogspot.com/

***************************************************************************************************we headed out to cannon beach just for a day, we checked out tillamook cheese factory and the beach. it was a simple day, but it was great to get away for a little bit...it was beautiful and freezing! it really got me spring feverish!

i am a nerd but i LOVE this kid! i predict he just made american idol history...this was seriously one of the best performances i have ever seen, very moving! he looks like he is 14 but sings with a maturity way beyond his years...if you missed this performance, YOU MUST WATCH THIS!

multnoma falls

we headed up for a drive to multnoma falls last sunday...its SO beautiful (second-tallest year-round waterfall in the nation..the water drops 620 feet) we need to check out more of the cool sights in Oregon this spring/summer so i will feel better about dealing with the rainy dark winters here...this helped!

VEGAS!!!

*************finally need to post about our awesome trip to vegas! clint had to help run a booth at the parker seminar in vegas this year so we made a little trip of it...i was super excited about it 'cause i got to meet up and hang out with two long-lost friends of mine Amy & Myra, that i recently got back in touch with (thank you facebook!) it has been about 12 years since i moved away from these girls and we had so many great junior high memories together....the good old days! (helene we missed you there!) anyways, we stayed on the strip, hung out there the whole time, ate at the stratasphere, did not gamble (just couldnt resist the pic though, we then were told we had to leave because you're not allowed near gambling with a child...oops! of course!), and enjoyed sunny weather...
